Joe Biden’s dog Major reportedly involved in second biting incident

Initially, it was reported that both Major and the Biden's other German Shepard, Champ, were returned to the family home in DE following the incident and other "aggressive behavior".

The German Shepherd only returned to the White House last week - along with his sibling Champ - after causing a minor injury to a member of the US Secret Service.

Biden's press secretary, told the outlet that Major, the younger of the Biden's dogs, is "still adjusting to his new surroundings", confirming, "Yes, Major nipped someone on a walk". LaRosa said the worker was seen by the White House Medical Unit "out of an abundance of caution" before returning to work without injury.

One of President Joe Biden's dogs, Major, has been involved in another biting incident. He said his dog just needed more time to adjust to life at the White House.

Biden also has a seemingly less rambunctious, older German Shepherd- Champ, 13. Champ, the older of the two, joined the Bidens in late 2008. Biden had said that the dog had "turned a corner, there's two people who he doesn't know at all, you know, and they move and (Major) moves to protect".

"Look, Major was a rescue pup", the president said.

The incident took place on the White House's South Lawn Monday afternoon while the NPS employee was working the grounds.

Giant Cargo Ship Ever Given Refloated in Suez Canal
An official from the 200,000-tonne ship's owners, Shoei Kisen, said while the Ever Given "has turned", it "is not afloat". Some shippers had chose to reroute their cargoes around the Cape of Good Hope, adding about two weeks to journeys.

Among them was MSNBC's Joe Scarborough who, on his show Morning Joe on Tuesday, repeatedly suggested Major be sent to "dog Jesus".

"He was going home", Mr Biden said.

He went on to say: "Eighty-five per cent of the people [at the White House] love him".

'I didn't banish him to home.

Last week, one of the two German shepherds waited on the balcony of the White House as Marine One landed on the South Lawn, having ferried the president back from a speech in Columbus, Ohio.

In November, Biden slipped while playing with Major and injured his foot, necessitating the temporary use of a walking boot. The couple adopted Major in 2018 from the Delaware Humane Association.
