The shooting is now underway in Centennial Park, Sydney, Australia. Pratt and Hemsworth will be back as their characters Star-Lord and Thor in the upcoming movie that will see Taika Waititi returning to the director's chair and as the much-loved character Korg. So far, Waititi has offered few teases on what fans can look forward to, such as taking inspiration from one major source - Jason Aaron's The Mighty Thor in which Jane Foster takes on the mantle as the Goddess of Thunder.

What this means for the film's plot is unclear, but if this is Thor's casual wear, then we can't wait to see what his superhero costume is going to look like! The images, which were posted on social media, show Thor and Star-Lord decked up in late-80s inspired outfits.

Perhaps this change is due to the influence of Star-Lord on Thor, as anyone whose seen either of the Guardians films or listened to their soundtracks knows that Peter Quill loves some classic pop-rock.

Yes, Thor's jacket might be rather Guardians-esque, but the ensemble comes to mind an older Thor - Eric Masterson, or better known as Thunderstrike.

Hemsworth was spotted in his iconic long blonde wig while carrying his stormbreaker axe around set. Hemsworth and Pratt appeared to be in deep conversation with a flurry of activity happening on sets. Pratt was dressed in red armour and the two actors were busy in discussion between takes during the al fresco shoot. Marvel also shot the film Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings in Sydney.

Thor: Love And Thunder is now being filmed in Australia. The cast will also find Christian Bale in the role of Gorr the Slaughterer of Gods.

Guardians of the Galaxy is arguably the goofiest film in the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe but that's not to say that it can't get serious and downright dramatic if it wanted to.
