Wendy Williams subject of juicy new biopic and a documentary

Journey, I think she's two years old next month or something. The film follows a young Wendy Williams from her start as an urban radio host as she evolves into a household name for celebrity news and culture commentary. "But no one knows who she is behind the camera".

What was remarkable is that Williams said she "plotted" her exit strategy from her marriage even as she was giving birth to her only child Kevin Jr., who is now in college.

Williams also revealed to Any Cohen on What What Happens Live recently that she had asked Hunter to be a part of her documentary, so he could tell his side of the story, but he refused.

Throughout her career, Wendy Williams has earned her stripes in the media and entertainment business through public highs and lows.

"What I was doing was plotting on him", said Wendy. I don't regret putting up with him for all 25 years. "And we're going to see that", she said. Without a pause, Wendy then went into the alleged details of the rumored affair before filing for Kevin's divorce after 22 years of marriage in April 2019, which was finalized in January 2020.

'I said, you know, "Wanna come over?" and he said "Yeah,"' she explained. "I've known that Kevin is a serial cheat". Hunter's name was noticeably wiped from the credits of her eponymous daytime series, and now, the line underneath the Executive Producer title reads "Just Wendy".

Wendy said she was aware of Kevin and Sharina's alleged relationship "for about 13 years they were together", while people "behind the scenes say it was more like 15 years".

Williams' movie and documentary premieres on Lifetime this Saturday at 8 p.m. ET.
