Tiger Woods and son Charlie to team-up in first pro…

Tiger Woods will play with son Charlie in the PGA Tour's PNC Championship in December, the special tournament where major winners compete along with a family member.

The tournament will be held in Orlando, Florida, from December 19-20, and numerous other golfers will be playing alongside one of their family members.

"It's been great watching [Charlie] progress as a junior golfer", Woods said.

The PNC Championship, the brainchild of longtime IMG executive Alastair Johnston, has gone through several iterations over the years to try to keep current with the times.

Tiger Woods has participated in numerous high-profile tournaments this year, but his upcoming stint at the 2020 PNC Championship will be unlike anything the legendary golfer has done in his entire career.

It marks the first time Woods, victor of 15 majors, and his 11-year-old son have played the tournament that was last year won by Germany's Bernhard Langer and son Jason.

No fans will be allowed at the Florida tournament but it will be televised in the United States by NBC.

NVIDIA GeForce NOW Streaming Comes to iOS Safari
Nvidia has beaten both Microsoft and Amazon to the punch by enabling GeForce Now on the iPhone and iPad Safari web browser. Alongside the Safari browser version, Nvidia said it would launch another web browser version, for Chrome, in early 2021 .

"I'll beat him so far", Woods said with a smile.

The 44-year-old Woods has been spotted at various junior Tournaments acting as Charlie's caddie.

"He's starting to get into it", Woods told GOLFTV earlier this year. He begins to understand how to play.

Tiger Woods: America's Son was created by ESPN's The Undefeated, a content platform focusing on exploring the intersection of sports, race and culture. He asks me the right questions. "I've kept it competitive with his par, so it's been just an absolute blast to go out there and just be with him", he said.

On Thursday, however, it became known that Woods will be playing a competition under Christmas, which will probably be very pleasing to him. I wanted to compete and play in this game. It's a lot like doing things for me and my dad, "Woods said, speaking of his father's genuine pride. That's on him - whether he wants it or not". Players must have won a major or The Players Championship, and their partner must not hold a PGA Tour card.

Justin Thomas, Matt Kuchar, Lee Trevino, Jim Furyk, John Daly, Greg Norman and Tom Kite are just a few of the golfers in the field who will be playing with their fathers or sons.
