Spokesman: Trump’s eldest son tests positive for coronavirus

President Donald Trump's eldest son, Donald Trump Jr, has been infected with coronavirus, a spokesman has said.

Trump Jr tested positive at the start of the week and has been "quarantining at his cabin since the result", the spokesman said.

According to Bloomberg, Don Jr is now in isolation after a positive coronavirus test earlier in the week.

Trump Jr.is following all medically recommended guidelines for COVID-19, the disease caused by the virus, the spokesperson added.

Trump Jr.'s girlfriend, Kimberly Guilfoyle, also tested positive for the virus over the summer as the duo campaigned for Trump throughout the country. Trump's chief of staff, Mark Meadows, and other White House aides and members of Congress have also tested positive.

President Trump, first lady Melania Trump and their son Barron have all recovered from their coronavirus infections in October. Now, the virus is seemingly out of control as every single state is seeing an uptick in cases, all while over 2,000 people died in the United States as a result of the virus, yesterday.
