David Luiz, Dani Ceballos Exchange Blows During Training

The Athletic reported on Thursday that Luiz "took exception" to a challenge by the Span global at the end of a training ground match last week which prompted him to lash out.

Arteta would not reveal if Willian would be in the squad for Sunday's Premier League trip to Leeds - but he did stress that there were other factors to be considered.

"He's got a great technique and he's a very underrated player, although two years ago, I was rating him very highly but then I think over the last couple years we've not seen much of him".

Ceballos, however, took to social media to quash rumours of a bust-up with Luiz on Thursday, rubbishing the reports as 'fake'.

It is not the first time the Spain global, on a season-long loan from Real Madrid, has been involved in an altercation with a team-mate.

The Australia worldwide sat out the Hoops' opening eight league fixtures but has since featured in four successive Premiership games, with two starts under his belt.

However, the United Arab Emirates is not on the UK's quarantine list and the 32-year-old Brazilian has been able to return to training this week.

"I don't confirm anything, that only it is an issue that has been resolved, explained and let's move on", he said. "But, again, it has been dealt in the right way and let's move on".

This is due to an injury he picked up during Arsenal's 3-0 loss to Aston Villa on November 8.
