Analytics have backed up this idea, as Marvel's Avengers has struggled to maintain a larger playerbase following release.

Marvel's Avengers is now available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Crystal Dynamics' Studio Head, Scot Amos, shared the news in the following blurb via the aforementioned State of the Game post: "We've also made the decision to shift our PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S launch to next year to ensure that we give our team the time to deliver a next-gen experience showcasing all that this game is meant to be".

We don't know exactly how many copies have been sold, but chances are that either Square Enix or Crystal Dynamics will soon be giving us a more accurate number of units sold. These include 1,500 in-game credits, a new nameplate, and quite a few other goodies to help players build up their favorite characters.

Crystal Dynamics describes it as a "slight delay", pushing back the launch of the Marvel's Avengers Kate Bishop DLC beyond its originally intended launch of October 2020. "With this in mind, we've chose to push Kate Bishop's Operation launch back a bit, out of October", said Amos, but no new date was given for this first new character.

Patch 1.3.3 introduces the Shield Substation Zero Outpost, a new command center in the Pacific Northwest of the War Table Avengers. If you'd like to hop into the game, you can buy Marvel's Avengers via its official website starting at $59.99 or your regional equivalent. Are you disappointed that you have to wait longer to play the Kate Bishop DLC?
