Mourinho takes thinly-veiled dig at Fernandes, Man Utd -NK#134348

On Wednesday, Jose Mourinho took yet another swipe at Manchester United's penalty record this season - and statistics show he may well have a point.

The Reds Devils set a new Premier League record for the most penalties awarded in a single campaign, winning their 14th of the season against Leicester City.

Ndombele has made a total of 21 Premier League appearances this term, scoring 2 goals.

And Fernandes stepped up to convert his sixth of the season since his £50million January move from Sporting Lisbon.

Mourinho has suggested that his former employers had benefitted from a number of contentious refereeing decisions and VAR interventions.

Spurs paid a club-record fee to sign the midfielder from Lyon last summer, but he had an indifferent first season in England.

Starting this month, Private Division will add new titles to its portfolio from three developers: Moon Studios , League of Geeks , and Roll7.

The German club are demanding that, if Manchester United want to buy the forward, they must match this figure before August 10.

The Special One says Bruno Fernandes has proven himself to be a good penalty taker, but only because he "has about 20 to take" rather than his calmness and technique from 12 yards.

"He's a world-class manager, a proven victor, and we can't judge him at Tottenham until half-way through next season at the earliest, after which time he'll have had at least two transfer windows and time to assess and change his squad".

Fernandes will be back in action with the rest of the United squad when the Europa League resumes next month.

United hold a 5-0 first advantage over LASK in the round of 16 clash back in March and would either face İstanbul Basaksehir or Copenhagen in the quarter finals.
