After months of delays Google has finally confirmed the launch of Pixel 4a for August 3.

The page includes a blank, smartphone-shaped image and a header with the words, "The Google ..." We already know nearly everything about this affordable Pixel phone.

If you match the six squares to the six colors in the written-out Google logo itself (blue, red, yellow, blue, green, red), the blocks fill in with text and an overlay on top of the phone points to an August 3rd date.

These include low-light photography, bokeh effects. a high-megapixel primary lens, and long-lasting battery.

First spotted at AOSP by 9to5Google, on a code page discussing a VPN compatibility with Android Q, we have a comment from a Googler that lists out all of the Google Pixel devices back through the Pixel 2 and which versions of Android they launched with.

According to the previous leaks, the Google Pixel 4a is expected to have a 5.8 inch OLED screen, a punch-hole camera of 8MP, and a rear shutter with 12.2 MP lens which will support both Electronic Image Stabilisation (EIS) and Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS). It is expected to run on a Snapdragon 730 SoC with Adreno 618 GPU, and 6GB of RAM with 64GB and 128GB storage options.
