"In accordance with a NSW Health directive that anyone who visited the restaurant for more than two hours between July 15 and July 25 to be tested and self-isolate for 14 days, the pharmacy staff who dined at the restaurant are now in self isolation awaiting the results of COVID-19 tests".

NSW Health is also asking anyone who lives in, or has visited the Potts Point area in the past two weeks to get tested if they have respiratory symptoms.

The restaurant has confirmed it will remain closed for two weeks and has thanked industry peers and customers for their support.

NSW has recorded 14 new cases of coronavirus as the health department urges people on board a flight from Melbourne to self-isolate.

"The Thai Rock Potts Point has the same owners as Thai Rock Wetherill Park, which has now been linked to 67 cases of COVID, but investigations to date have not identified links between cases at the two sites".

Both people also dined at the Thai Rock restaurant in Potts Point, and authorities now believe this links the two outbreaks.

Anyone who visited between midnight to 3am on Thursday, July 23, 11am to 3pm on Friday, July 24 and 8pm to midnight on Friday, July 24, or midnight to 3am on Saturday, July 25, has been advised to - you guessed it - seek testing immediately, self-isolate for 14 days regardless of symptoms, and grab another round of testing should symptoms occur. They are also alerting anyone who attended the bistro of Pritchard's Hotel on 23 July between 7pm to 7.45pm.

Bayanami Public School in Parramatta will be closed on Wednesday to allow time for the school to complete contact tracing and cleaning.

Travel to the Northern Territory and the ACT is allowed but people travelling from hotspots must quarantine for 14 days, while NSW residents who return from Victoria must self-isolate for 14 days upon return. There are now seven venues on the list of locations that require patrons to present immediately for testing and self-isolate for 14 days.

Anyone who attended the venues during these periods are directed to isolate for 14 days and get tested if any symptoms develop. A further 20 venues are on the list of locations that require patrons to monitor for symptoms.
