Louis Couple Points Guns at Protesters Marching Outside Their Home

President Donald Trump retweeted a video on Monday morning showing an unidentified white couple brandishing their firearms at anti-police brutality protesters in St. Louis, Missouri, who were peacefully marching toward city Mayor Lyda Krewson's home.

The video shows the barefooted couple yelling and pointing their weapons at the protesters, who make no move to approach them. But the usual hypocritical liberal outcry was so great she subsequently apologized after reading the names and partial addresses of at least 10 rioters during a Facebook Live briefing on coronavirus. "The McCloskeys are apparently very proud of their house, welcoming St. Louis Magazine in 2018 for a tour of the Renaissance-style palazzo that was originally built by a Busch heiress and her husband, but it's unclear what prompted them to grab their guns and pop out front, shoeless but armed, to confront nonviolent protesters".

Several protesters personally handed letters to Krewson at a demonstration last week, calling on her to shutter the city's Medium Security Institution, a 1,100-bed prison known as the "workhouse", and slash city funding for St. Louis police down to nothing.

Nearly 100,000 people have since viewed the same video, which comes after Mr Trump retweeted a video in which someone yells "white power" at protesters in a Florida. In one case, she read a person's name and full address. An e-mail and phone call from The Associated Press to police weren't immediately answered.

A demonstration in St. Louis led to a heart-pounding scene outside the home of one of the mayor's neighbors. Another called it "a move created to silence dissent".

Men and women with medical conditions who are unable to wear masks are exempt from carrying a confront covering. The post , however, backfired and enormous support poured in for Gutierrez for having stood his ground.

The names and letters are considered public records, but Krewson's actions caused a heavy backlash.

No charges were brought against them. We were told that we would be killed, our home burned and our dog killed. While this is public information, I did not intend to cause distress or harm to anyone.

"As a leader, you don't do stuff like that ... it's only right that we visit her at her home", said state representative Rasheen Aldridge, speaking into a megaphone at the protest on Sunday.

Mark and Patricia McCloskey live in a million-dollar home on the private street Portland Place.

Protesters nationwide have been pushing to " defund the police " following the death of George Floyd and other Black people at the hands of police.
